Domaine Paul Prieur et Fils Descendant of a centuries-old Verdigny winemaking family, Paul Prieur was one of the producers who revived the wines from Sancerre in the mid-1960s. Among other things, by being one of the first to bottle its own wines, promoting the Sancerre brand throughout France and then exporting its wines to Great Britain. With his sons Didier and Philippe, he expanded the vineyard area to 18.5 hectares and now the domain also includes famous quality vineyards such as Monts Damnés, Bouffants and Pichon. Recently, Didier's son Luc also joined the family business, making him the eleventh generation of winemakers in the family. With their extensive knowledge and love for the terroir, the Prieurs work their vineyards with respect for nature and harvest manually as one of the few producers in the region.

Tip: with a piece of dry goat cheese, preferably grilled, this wine is the absolute pinnacle of enjoyment. But this wine is also wonderfully refreshing with fish dishes.
