This wine box contains 5 red and 1 white wine.
- Scaia Garganega / Chardonnay . This white Scaia is a combination of Garganega, Chardonnay and Trebbiano grapes. The wine has an intense aroma of acacia, jasmine and orange. The taste is soft, full and has a nice bitterness in the aftertaste
- Tenuta Sant'Antonio Scaia Corvina. The beautiful ruby, red-purple colored wine has aromas of red roses and violet and of red and black currants, plums, blackberries and raspberries. In the mouth Scaia Rossa is soft creamy with a balanced juicy freshness and the right amount of tannins. Great to enjoy on its own or as an accompaniment to starters, pasta, risotto, grilled meat, dried sausage and cheese.
- Valpolicella Nanfre. An Italian red wine with delicious freshness, fruity aromas and soft tannins. This beautiful ruby red colored wine with cherries and ripe red fruit tones am .aldelen is smooth in the glass and is served at eighteen degrees with light meat dishes and cheese very well to its right.
- Tenuta Sant'Antonio Valpolicella Superiore La Bandina. A creamy, full-bodied wine with lots of red fruit, a hint of liquorice, tobacco and cedar wood.
- Luigi Einaudi Barbera DOC . Intense aromas, full rich wine with red berries in the taste, beautiful tannins and a soft vanilla tone. The wine is soft but complex. Has matured for 12 months in oak barrels, both small and large barrels. Then a few more months in the bottle. A small production of 21,000 bottles per year. Beautiful Barbera with a lot of character made from the grapes that grow on Einaudi's own vineyards at San Luigi and San Giacomo.
- Monte Garbi Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore
This Valpolicella is a nice step up to the Amarone. Strong aromas of ripe red fruit. Light vanilla tone and nice spiciness. Long finish.
This Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso is made from 70% corvinone and corvina, 20% rondinella and 10% croatina and oseleta grapes. All come from densely planted orchards (8000 vines/ha.) on the chalky hills of the Monti Garbi or 'poor rugged mountains'.
