    • Description

This refined wine from Burgundy, Meursault, reflects the semi-continental climate with cold winters and warm summers, thriving on soils of clay and limestone. The Chardonnay grapes mature for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new.

The wine presents a rich concentration with aromas of citrus, toast and a lively freshness. The vineyard, an exclusive property of Domaine Chavy-Chouet, offers a round taste with a touch of fullness due to the clay present in the soil.

Enjoy this wine with classic fish dishes, poultry, tempura, crab or lobster, and even with veal. A perfect embodiment of Meursault's unique terroir, captured in every carefully crafted sip.

Origin: France, Burgundy, Cote de Beaune

      Grapes: chardonnay

      Contents; 750ML

      Alcohol: 13.5%

      About the winery:

Chavy-Chouet is one of the oldest families in Puligny-Montrachet. Owner Romaric Chavy, who took over the domain in 2014, is the eighth generation of winemaking in his family. Romaric learned to make wine from his father, Hubert Chavy, who founded the winery in 1982. Romaric Chavy has, as he puts it, dedicated his life to 'winegrowing with a free-spirited, intense, and dynamic approach'. His ambition is to make top wines that reflect the essence of their regions of origin - Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay and Pommard. But whether it concerns AOP Burgundy wines or Premier Crus, Romaric cares for all his plots with the same love and attention. And… with respect for nature! He farms the 15 hectares that Romaric owns as organically as possible. Following his father, Romaric does not filter his wines, but allows their purity to express themselves.
